I’m Raquel Turner, the heart and soul behind Our Pieces. I’m not just a CEO and founder — I’m an author, a writer, and a proud mom of two boys rocking the autism spectrum, and a neurotypical daughter who keeps us all on our toes.
My journey has taken me from being an instructor therapist, running programs for kids with ASD, to becoming a tireless advocate for families navigating a complex system.
My big why is simple: a passion to make a difference in the lives that matter most. That’s why I created the Our Pieces app — to help parents, teachers, and caregivers track behaviours and discover insights that help children with autism learn, grow, and blossom.
Now parents and care providers can stop guessing what’s triggering a child’s behaviour, and collaborate more effectively to understand and connect with the child while teaching valuable life skills.
